are deDRM ebooks identifiable ?

Hello,

Let's say a friend of mine ( ) buys books on Amazon. He removes DRM so he can lend it to all his friends. But one of those friends could accidentally let one or several borrowed ebooks go on internet.

Is there any possibility and/or danger for my friend that the deDRM'ed books are identified ( we can find who initially bought it ) and my friend would get troubles ?

Thank you
