Perhaps I'm being a bit dense for not understanding, so if you could please elaborate. I don't remember doing anything to not allow popups, but whatever I did, I apparently did it on both browsers. [Firefox and Safari.]

(I would rather download the ebook, rather than fool with Kindle For Mac on my newer Mac. And then just add the ebook to calibre and let the plug-ins do the 'magic'. [Macbook Air 2020; Big Sur; M1 chip].)
