Frank's Jack takes the reader on a journey. The journey is that of a boy who becomes a man. His story plays out over many decades.. Jack William Howlett grows up on a deprived estate in Nottingham during the 1980's and 1990's with his parents Mary and Frank (and his sister Selena). In part one we see him as a rebellious youth during his school days. Next we see him becoming a more focused young man with some idea of what he wants to do with his life. As he progresses into adulthood he faces many challenges and comes to understand himself more deeply. This novella explores themes of family, sexuality, self-discovery, death and love. It is not suitable for children.
