I've had the opposite experience. I loved writing and annotating on my Elipsa. I found it quite responsive, and the stylus felt very comfortable to work with. Obviously, YMMV. Have you tried pairing a different Bluetooth stylus with the Elipsa. I don't how easy or not that is to do.

My notebook review is extensive, perhaps too much so. ��
