Just received elipsa yesterday and I do agree with everything and even more. Writing experience is worse than tablets from 10 years ago... I am giving up on pdf and epub annotation as the pen is just too thick (you can't do anything about it in the reading app, one pen thickness and one tone highlight). Not sure why those paid devs can't come up with something great like KOreader and Plato with pen functions. The device has potential but so far it is very disappointing.
