That is the first time I have heard of this. I've been buying books from them for about eight years, and I can't prove that anything is missing. There are a lot of books that Kobo no longer sells, so I cannot display the book details in the store, but, the book is still in my library and can be downloaded either as an epub, or directly to the device. I have about 680 books from Kobo, so I'll admit I haven't checked all of them. I haven't always been good on keeping track, but, whenever I have looked the book is still available to me.
