Why are you keeping a 32-bit version instead of the more robust 64-bit version? You originally got into this problem because of running a 2-bit version. Dump the 32-bit version for the 64-bit version and you'll have less issues. The 32-bit version has access to only 3GB of memory and the 64-bitversion does not have this limitation.

What you are saying (from what I read) is... Now that the problem is fixed, I can go back to a version of Calibre that will at some point cause me to have problems instead of staying with the version that won't have those problems.
