Ok, here's a bit of something.
This will not remap stock brightness sliders in other apps as I have to work out how best to avoid an endless loop.
The Onyx has an enormous dead zone on the low end of brightness. I'm trying to compensate here. This should give you full range.
Do not unzip the file, only rename it Lights-Alpha.apk

Yes, you can try out this if you like.
I've figured out how to get a real smooth continuum on the color temperature.
Tomorrow's version will be better.
