Moring JS - thanks for the pointer.

I do have Obok but, as I mentioned to David, I've just never needed it before (if DRM was a problem, it was snuffed out during conversion, as far as I'm aware).

I did get an error message saying something about permissions on 'E' (Kobo Touch) and ran calibre in Administrator mode 'cos a post somewhere suggested it. But it made no difference: the latest AZWs from Kindle will not convert and are said to be DRM protected - which they're not, as far as I know. (They're free Open University booklets.) I got them into the calibre library okay, but no further.
