The renovations of the Dom Tower, about 100 meters from our house, has been ongoing for a couple of years now. So far you did hear them working, but it was never really loud. Until last week.

It sounds like they're currently working with a (small?) jackhammer most of the day. During most of the day the sound is partially drowned out by the regular noises of cars, people, boats, etc. But they start just after 7am. My weekend is on Sunday and Monday, where I usually stay in bed longer than on days the store is open. And at the moment I sometimes switch from morning to afternoon on days I work half a day if my mother has a hospital appointment. But sleeping in on weekdays is, for now, a thing of the past.

It could be worse; there are people living right next to the tower.
