The hottest it has ever gotten up here (in my memory) was 103° a couple of years ago. (That's going by my memory -- it's not official.)

One of my summer jobs in college was working in a warehouse for a company that made large swimming pools, both in-ground and above-ground. The owner of the company had a reputation for being very thrifty. The building was a two story square building. The sales area was in the front center and the warehouse surrounded the sales area in a "U" shape. The sales area had to be air conditioned, of course, so there were several window air conditioners built into the walls, with the heat exhausts in the warehouse. In July and August the ground floor of the warehouse was usually above 100° and the second floor loft, where we kept the foam and plastic tubing, was usually above 120°.


This afternoon, out on the deck, we hit 95° with sunny skies, high humidity, and enough of a breeze to keep it tolerable.
