Adding a font to a Kobo device

I have a Forma to which at one point I added the Bookerly font. Stupidly, I didn't note down the steps (nor where I could find that font, or some approximation of it). I thought I'd see if the same procedure works for the Elipsa... but now I can't.
I seem to remember it was just a matter of copying the font to a certain directory and changing something in an ini file.
Is there anybody who remembers the steps one had to take, or can point me to a guide on this forum? I often can't find older instructions here.
MTIA.
