That is strange, but, it does explain some things. I can't think of why that would happen or why sending to the device didn't update the extensions. If you have a kepub in the calibre library, it will just have the extension ".kepub". The send-to-device should add the ".epub" and the extended driver should do the full ".kepub.epub" after doing the kepub transformation.

But, I'm a little annoyed with myself. I thought about asking for a debug log from calibre, but, I didn't as it seemed to be the device, not calibre. If I had the log, I might have seen what caused this.
