Many thanks for your answers and I hope my reply will give an idea of what I'm after which is something of about half an A4 page that I can move ebooks from my computer to and can be charged up from a vehicle cigar lighter.

Dr. Drib Checking on his post history, there is unfortunately a degree of not understanding the everyday aspects of using a computer and ebook reader.
Rather an assumption as I do have a rough idea on how to use a computer but your absolutely right in that I know nothing of ebook readers although I do use a Smart Phone and my wife uses a Tablet which I also know nothing of or even if one can load applications that allow it to be used to read ebooks.
ApK If you are referring to the OP, then to me the post history smacks of someone who is seeding a post count to infiltrate the forum for ulterior motives, like spam or self-promotion. But, heck, I'm probably just curmudgeonly, cynical and paranoid.
