The Kobo Developerso of course - everything was fine before the takeover.
Kobo tried the Android update, which did not succeed and which broke a lot of devices.
Devices with exchangeable SD could be saved, others that had gone through this update had to be replaced.
As of now, I will be careful not to warn Kobo fanatics about the anything but high-quality engineering of this company's products.
