Hi,

I've been in the IT industry for almost 50 years, professionally. I started out if college as a COBOL programmer. In 1980 I became a System Manager for a PDP11/70 running RSX11M+ and a VAX 780 running VMS v2.0. I managed VMS machines until 2009 when I transitioned to a Drupal Developer/Webmaster. I started writing websites soon after the web came about in the early 90s. I had my first site up in about 1994 (all HTML with blinking gifs all over). I taught myself PHP in the late 1990s and snagged my first professional website in 2000. It was for a high-end restaurant in NJ. I had the site for 6 years. In 2017 I became one of the webmasters for Rutgers University in NJ. Now I'm learning how to create eBooks. Fun stuff... 😀
