Trip was a doddle. I took a circuitous route, maybe three miles longer than the direct one, but no roadworks to speak of (Although there often seems to be a few blokes and a bunch of cones generally doing not much!)
Wonderful funeral, as much as these things can be; smoothly run, eulogy by a friend rather than a hired 'celebrant' and we were all there for our friend,and not the artificial ceremony of it all.
