If AZ has really gotten that bad for clotting, I am surprised that they're still giving it to anybody at all. And surprised that anybody would take it. I read several news sources every day (most all are US based though), including far-left and far-right. I have seen nothing of this on any of them. I don't really trust any news source these days, no matter how big and established they are. I guess things like this are one of the reasons why. Wow. That's a terrible track record on clotting.

It's not that the clotting problem is so big. It's that the number infected with Covid in Australia was so low.
The clotting problem seems to affect maybe 1 in 100,000 (up to 1 in 50,000 in young people, down to 1 in 200,000 in older people), and the problem is fatal in 1 in 5 cases or less.
