Personally, I will recommend... ​Ascendance of Bookworm, ​series which I love.

Has quite nice world building, likable characters and what not.
As for quick summary, it is about a woman who loves books above all else, who dies under certain circumstances, and gets reincarnated as a very sickly, 5-year old girl, in medieval-esque world.

She can't stand that there are no books around, available easily. (And when they were, they were insanely expensive, after all, medieval world. )
And so begins her quest for making books from scratch. Which is quite an ordeal given how prone to getting sick she is.

It might not be so much 'castaway', but, given how much important books to her are, and she just wouldn't be able to even live without them, I suppose it might count?
