For what it is worth, on a X-Rite eXact Basic densitometer, my Forma has a slightly darker black and slightly whiter white than a Oasis 3 when displaying a full screen black image and a full screen white image. Both were well within the eInk's specs for a Carta display and so testing different units will likely give different results though if as I suspect, the Forma has the VD1400-HOB display module, it is Carta 1200 and is faster and has 15% better contrast than the 7" Carta module used in the Oasis 3, the Forma is likely to inch out the Oasis 3 in any such tests.
