Depending on where you are located, you might want to add the Kobo Elipsa to the list.

Since it sounds as if you will be reading more PDF publications, you might want to look at a LCD tablet. Overall, I've found PDFs to be a poor match even using the 13.3" diagonal eInk ereaders though much of that is the limitations on the software. The problem for me is most of the PDF manuals I use have diagrams that folded out from A4 to A2 or 8.5"x11" to 17"x22" in the paper edition. Trying to follow a line across one of those on any display is a total pain especially where they were colour coded and you have a B&W display.
