Most of my past project were colour blocks, but with smaller and more blocks. I'm currently working on this project. I'm stitching the last bit of the dark blue sky.

One of my previous projects had some minor confetti. But I have an app called Pattern Keeper on my Android tablet, which is great. If the pattern is supported you can highlight the symbol/colour you're working on.

But my current project can't be loaded because the grid isn't square. So I have it on my iPad in an app where I can use a highlighter to mark my progress.

The bottom half is confetti-ish, but the colours are similar enough that they won't bleed through if I go cross country.

In diamond painting I really don't care if it's colour blocks or confetti. Although with confetti I often miss a couple, but it's much easier to get the right colour and put them in with plastic stones than with floss which you have to thread.
