FYI, "
Long Island, New York" (typed with quotation marks, as the moniker also applies to several
barrier islands) actually comprises four counties. They are (listed from East to West):
Suffolk,
Nassau,
Queens (which is coextensive with the New York City borough called "Queensborough"), and
Kings (aka Brooklyn, which is coextensive with the New York City borough called "Kingsborough").
