Ordinarily, yes - unless (such as myself), I actually
enjoy the theoretical writings from the Nouveau Roman school of fiction, most particularly the early work of Claude Simon, in addition to J.M.G. LeClezio. Both are Nobel prize winners, by the way; although, I have a feeling you already knew that.
