I am pretty sure that is what happened to me. I downloaded the 1.17 version THANK YOU! and was able to translate my book files ONE time. The next time I tried, it popped up a sign-in window, and never accepted my credentials. I uninstalled, reinstalled, reinstalled newest version, uninstalled, all variations on a theme. I have not been able to get it to work again.

When I uninstalled kindle (using Revo Uninstaller) it still came up under "windows" menu key - and ran. So I uninstalled it through windows 10 and it's still there (and running) in my app folders!!!

It's as if it was posessed!

So, any suggestions? or are we just screwed from here on out? I have 5 diff kindles, and would like to be able to painlessly move the books around ...
