You didn't read what I wrote carefully, Skydog. As I said -- and the quote I provided was sourced and directly linked to the Kobo site where it came from -- handwritten notes made in BOOKS -- BOOKS, my friend, not PDF files, but books -- are lost when you reset the reader.

Again, quoting Kobo, re ebooks: "If you reset or sign out of your eReader, you’ll lose your annotations and handwritten notes."
