It was not intended to be reasoned with. It was a sarcastic response to a previously stated view that I see as Orwellian. It was a great way to say "I disagree!" without saying those exact words. But it does require anyone reading the response to apply a little thinking. Sarcasm is based on saying one thing while meaning another, and upon exaggeration. I am sorry that you do not recognize this, and evidently thought it was a serious statement. You are now struggling with how to respond to something that was
