Great!!! I am happy to know you are safe now, my lovely friend!!🤗
Even though I am not afraid to die, I was seriously worried of getting it and suffering longterm effects. I had a really nasty bug last year in March (I think it might have been Covid given the timing, but I wasn't tested then as it all was fairly new), which knocked me out and into bed rest for three weeks. It left me so weak, I had to sit down on a park bench twice when I went to my moms for weeks. My mom lives 10 mins walk away from me and I normally walk the dog between 7 and 10 kilometers a day.
The possibility to crawl around all weak and useless for the next 25 or 30 odd years till I bite the dust was terrifying! How much so I only realized after I got my shot and the relief was palpable.
I got Pfizer in March btw, it was a leftover because my moms 97 year old neighbor didn't want hers, fearing negative long term effects of a vaczine that has no long term studies 🙄 My mom was like "ok, hope someone will remind me to exhume you when the have a ten year study of it!" 😂
Her loss, my gain.Otherwise I would have had to wait till now and get AstraZenca. Which I'd have totally taken, too.
