I finished the last available book in Thorensen's series, and KU recommended at least two more series in the same vein, but they look very low quality. I'm hoping he has more coming, but the last one came out two weeks ago, so it will be a while.
Kindred gets both more impressive and more emotionally taxing as I go, but it still has some of the same feel as the other castaway books, more than the other time travel subgenres.
