I didn't really see anybody trying to start a flame war. I saw someone making a very good point. Whenever there is some technology that comes along (we'll say an eReader in this case), someone who has extreme needs, well outside the mass of users in the middle of the distribution curve, will say "It's not good because it cannot meet my extreme needs." That is not a valid criticism.
Now, like you, I'm all for "whatever best suits your needs." Elipsa looks like a cool bit of technology and could be fun to have, but, for CA$500, I can't see it justifying its price
for me. I'm sure it'll be great for some people.
