When I was a student employee of my college's chemistry department, we had a locker with 200 proof, untaxed, alcohol. It was a necessary reagent for certain experiments, but, _of course_, there were ALWAYS some students who had to try and steal some, usually mixed with grapefruit juice (trust me, MUCH better than Tang). And we would always know who had done it. Because we would drop a couple of drops of Phenolphthalein* in each liter we put out in the labs. Turns out, Phenolphthalein used to be the active ingredient in exLax. Sigh. I really used to look forward to those labs each semester. <evil grin>

* Phenolphthalein is now listed as a carcinogen, and I strongly suspect the formulation for exLax has changed since then.
