And adding/removing gets slower and slower as the collections grow. The Kindle apps don’t have these issues, so it is an order of magnitude or two easier to use those, rather than trying to do it on a Kindle.

But even so, with a large library, organizing everything into collections is a lot of work and I use them sparingly.

Being able to mark books as ‘read’ eliminated the need for ‘unread’ collection, and Series grouping eliminated need to create series collections. If they follow up with Author grouping, and perhaps Category grouping, it could further reduce need to create collections manually.
