Are you using the Connect Software to load the file on the device, or a memory card?

I ask because you ought to see faster results if you run your PDF through the Connect Software and let the PC do all that formatting/indexing for you, as opposed to the memory card route, which makes the much slower processor in the Reader itself do that work.
