mp3 Player Cover Art Issue

I have been happily using an AGPTek G15, which is a Sansa Clip clone, to listen to my audiobooks. The clip mechanism broke, so I bought the same model as a replacement. But on the replacement, my cover art doesn't appear on the mp3 files; I just see a default image on the player. I am baffled.

The old player shows the art, the new player, loaded with the same files, doesn't. (Yes, the art is embedded, and shows on my PC.) Otherwise the new player works fine, but not being able to see the proper art annoys me way WAY more than it should. Especially since the new player is the same model, and I expressly chose it because it would not require me to deal with anything new.

Any ideas? Thanks.

(Technology is giving me a REALLY hard time this week!)
