I still do pay per minute really, I buy €15 credit which is so many minutes. The thieves now expire unused credit after 6 months.
I don't make many voice or SMS calls and never use data on it. I use WiFi sometimes.
You're old if you remember phone dials. Really old if you remember phones with NO buttons or dial.
