If you use Rakuten Cash Back with Kobo, the cash back percentage is back up to 5%, as it used to be when Rakuten first bought Kobo, rather than the 2.5% it has normally been for a long time. The percentage has bounced back up to 5% briefly from time to time in the past, but usually reverts back to 2.5% after a while. I don't think Rakuten varies the percentage by individual user, but not sure of this so YMMV...
