Makes sense to me. I'll admit to not always opening a text or email if it appears to be something I already know, no matter who it's from.

My doctor's office communication issue is that even if I list my cell phone as the primary phone number on their registration forms, they'll still call my backup home landline number during the day when I'm at work, so I have to call them back another day.
