Good to know. Well, I had the choice of Kobo, calibre, plugin, so obviously I used the wrong one. Perhaps a moderator can move this to the proper location?

Anyway, running calibre in debug mode would not reveal much as the communication problem did not occur anymore: only the resulting unsynced situation.

To test the communication, I pumped twice the original amount of ebooks to the Clara: no problems at all. I hope it was just some glitch.
