Oh, OK. I did not pick up on that. So she was not claiming the the word "hysterical" is racist ... rather, the word "racist" is racist.
Which it kind of is, given how it is used and thrown around these days.
But I thought we were talking about the word "hysterical". How did "racist" sneak in there???
But maybe it's best to wait for Issy to tell us what she meant in a more clear fashion, rather than speculate on what she was trying to say. Speculating on the meaning of others words, without knowing, is what got us to the place we are in this conversation.
