Which was excellent. Best anti-hero ever. A complete cad - seducer, rapist, coward, toady, hypocrite, bully. And wonderful fun to read about.

Next I read A Christmas to Remember by Anton du Beke. This is his third book, all set in the fictional Buckingham Hotel in London between the wars.

It's a quick, light read. Good fun, with some international intrigue going on.

And currently I'm reading Galaxy's Edge #3, an SF magazine edited by Mike Resnick. It's OK, and some stories are very good, but it makes me realise that short stories are not what I enjoy reading the most.
