A quite typical adventure yarn in the Ruritanian mould, except in this case Ruritania is a former Kingdom in South America.
A British chap comes to the rescue of a lady, and becomes entwined in an elaborate plot which takes him to Aquazilia, the mythical South American republic, formerly a Kingdom; and thence back to UK for the climax.
