Same here. On Linux Mint 19.3 Calibre and the Nook Glowlight Plus just don't hook up(?) (have no idea why not). So I got in the habit of just dragging and dropping my books into the Glowlight (as it hooks up to the computer fine). I also don't have any trouble with Shelves (though I've only tested them, haven't used this feature regularly). I also don't have more than 40 books on my Nook, so that also might be a factor.
