We had a 4 hour power failure today. When the power came back our water pressure was very low. We have a well with a pressurized tank and a water filter. I suspect it's the water filter, since the pressure builds up over time and the filter is overdue to be changed. (I prefer to do that job when everyone else is out for the afternoon and I can work undisturbed, with no one accidentally trying to flush a toilet. This past year we haven't really had any of those afternoons, and then it slipped my mind.)
I found the filters and the scrub brushes for the inside of the housing ... but the filter wrench is missing in action. It was probably neatened out of the way when we had some other work done in that corner of the basement.
Anyway, I'll have to get to Home Depot in the morning -- and then hope that it really is the filter.
