I don't really care about the screensavers, but if I wasn't able to jb my kindle to use KOReader, I'd have probably sold it and bought a Kobo.
I was thinking about posting a message in the Open Sesame thread when I started working on the jailbreak just to let people know not to update their Kindles. I didn't want to disappoint anybody in case I failed, so I decided not to.
