Which is published by Penguin and appears to be a simple novel. And yet for some reason it insists on having the latest version of the Kindle app.
To avoid the irritating KFX format, you could try method 2 of the first page of this thread. Or if you had an E-Ink Kindle, you could try download and transfer via USB.
This might be a sign of some publishers trying to up the ante on DRM.

There are several unusual things about that book.
It appears to be available for delivery only to KFX capable Kindle devices. The free sample can actually be downloaded in KF8 format, but I strongly suspect the book itself is only available in KFX and cannot be manually downloaded. (I am not willing to pay $18 to find out for certain.)
The Look Inside preview looks new. It allows a choice of fonts for viewing, which I have not seen before in other books.
The publisher shows as "Random House India". I wonder whether the KFX limitation is specific to this publisher/market because of the stronger DRM it provides. It is something to watch for from other publishers.
Added: I looked at other recently published books by Random House India and they mostly appear to have the same limiations.
