Taking the Sailing aspect into consideration, i might be better with a smaller additional waterproof model just for reading.
That said i can honestly see me getting more use personally and professionally out of the 10.3 models suggested above.

Out of the 2 10.3" models you have suggested, which one have you had the best user experience with?
