I don't remember any mention of a bug in kepubs with hyphenation in ragged-right formatting. I do see it, but, not very often. And mostly where someone has done something like "AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!" Other than that, I only expect to see hyphenation when there a lot of long words together in a sentence.

But, I also do not use any patches, your hyphenation dictionary, or the option in the KoboTouchExtended driver to force hyphenation on or off. One of those might be affecting what you are seeing.
