St. Martin's Minotaur (part of Macmillan) usually gets around to putting stuff out eventually, but it could take them a long time. The Kindle version that's out sucks and is Topaz which Amazon creates itself from a less than stellar source (it took a month after the pbook came out). I returned it and went into great detail why I was returning it though I doubt it'll do any good. Why the publisher couldn't supply Amazon, and in turn other distributors, with a digital source for a brand new book is something I can't understand at all.

Hopefully Dana, who it appears has the rights to her earlier stuff, will hook up with Fictionwise or someplace like ereads to get her stuff out in multiple formats. I think a lot of authors are willing to try the Amazon route when they're self publishing because it allows them to get the books out without having to really know much. A lot of writers just want to write and don't "get" all the technical stuff yet.
