I think as I absolutely know which books to search, not the entire calibre library, I'll do it the old way of opening the source in LibreOffice, or if I only have ebook versions, search each in turn on Calibre Viewer or the Kobo eink.

Yes, I see there is a local install option. Otherwise it would be useless. The ONLY things I use the Internet for are communications and websites.
I'm not in the mood to install Elastic Search right now. Also I only need to search epubs or the wordprocessor files used to make them.
