Disable autoconvert?

I know this is a simple search failure on my part, but I can't find where to disable auto-convert. I wanted to see if there was a difference between kepubs and epubs when using KOReader, so chose "send specific format to device" and VERY carefully selected "Epub". Despite this, 96 new kepubs are now on my Libra. I looked through Calibre Preferences, and the Kobo Touch Extended Driver settings, Kobo Utilities and the conversion settings - what did I overlook?
